DescriptionCut-Off tools are must-have items for most metal fabricators and automotive restoration shops. There are typically three different types available: In-Line Cut-Off Tool which is more or less the same idea as using a grinder to cut stone; a Standard Cut-Off Tool that is similar to a straight grinder with a safety guard for the general cutting applications; an Extended Cut-Off Tool that is designed to use for difficult to reach areas. Alpha® introduces the COTE-04 Extended Cut-Off Tool. This cut-off tool is 14-3/4″ in length and has a newly designed gear head with the spindle lock that has a very low profile to reach the tight and hard-to-reach areas. The COTE-04 comes with a Push-to-Adjust swivel safety guard that changes into 11 positions (126 degree adjustable). The operation is also comfortable with a Built-in Cushion Grip and a rear exhaust design. This tool boasts the industry’s strongest motor: a 1.0 HP that enhances the capacity of the Ultracut ABM series blade.
